What is Scrip?

Gift Cards
– Shop with gift cards in everyday categories including groceries, gas, restaurants and more.
Earnings that Add Up
– A percentage of each gift card purchased will go directly to your school or organization.
Fundraising Made Easy
– Raise the money for your group with no soliciting or selling.

Why Scrip is Better
Most fundraising programs sell "stuff."  Supporters buy the "stuff" to "help you out" (i.e. "How little can I spend?").  With scrip there's no need to sell "stuff".

Top Five Organization Benefits
1.  No selling random, unwanted, overpriced "stuff" to family and friends.
2.  Earnings add up fast!  It's easy for a single family to generate $600 to $1000 or more per year.
3.  Everyday family purchases become everyday earnings for your organization.
4.  Families are motivated and engaged with the program.
5.  All or part of the earnings a member generates can go towards their individual fees or expenses.

Top Five Family Benefits
1.  Plan ahead to buy groceries, gas and other household expenses with gift cards from scrip.
2.  Shop in-store or online with participating retailers.
3.  Use gift cards to pay at checkout, just like they would use a credit/debit card, but without the fraud risk.
4.  Scrip program earnings are much greater than credit card rewards.
5.  No unnecessary spending, families spend their planned household budget at stores they already frequent.

To set up your account:
1.  Go to
2.  Click on the "Register" button at the top of the page.
3.  Scroll to the middle of the age and click on "Join a Scrip Program"
4.  Enter enrollment code B4E3D8ED292
5.  Fill out the requested information.  You can also sign up for PrestoPay at this time.  There are a couple of security features with this set up but just follow the instructions.  PrestoPay is an optional feature only to help you pay for your scrip purchase via ACH withdrawal from your checking account.  You can still opt to pay with check or cash when you pick up your order.  You will be asked for your player's name and a teacher.  For the teacher section put SPLL.  All accounts should be registered in the name of a player parent or guardian.
6.  Setting up a ShopWithScrip account is only for SPLL families and alumni.
7.  You will receive an email confirmation after you register and there will be a lot of useful information on that email.  I suggest you save the email as a resource.

To place a Scrip order:
SPLL will communicate when the next scrip order will be placed.
You will need to input your order directly into your ShopWithScrip account.
You can pay with PrestoPay, (it will take about a week to activate after setting up), cash (exact change only), or check (payable to SPLL).
If you pay with cash or check please make arrangements to pick up your order within one (1) week of it being received by the Scrip Coordinator.
Scrip orders of more than $1000 must be prepaid, which means the family ordering can pay using PrestoPay or deliver a check or cash to the Scrip Coordinator before the scrip is ordered.  Checks over $1500 will need to clear the bank before the order is placed.

*PrestoPay allows you to purchase ScripNow, Reload, or ReLoadNow scrip cards at your convenienece.  PrestoPay is not a required form of payment, it just allows the families who choose to use it some convenience options.
